Terms of Service

Drobia is an asynchronous online survival game. By creating an account or playing, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't play.

• You must be 13 or older. If you're between 13 and 18, a guardian must be OK with it.
• Don't share your sign-in link. It's tied to your email.
• One account per person during the alpha. We'll relax this later.
• Display names must follow the chat blocklist — no slurs, no impersonation, no real-world threats.

• Play the game. Trade with other survivors. Post on chat channels.
• Talk about Drobia anywhere. Stream it. Make videos. We love that.
• Suggest changes, file bug reports, contribute feedback.

• Harass or threaten other survivors. The reckoning is in-game PvP — chat is not.
• Cheat: scripted clients, RMT (real-money trading of in-game goods), exploit bug abuse.
• Scrape, mass-create accounts, or attempt to overload our servers.
• Reverse engineer the game except as permitted by applicable law.
• Sell or transfer your account to anyone else.

Breaking these gets you warned, muted, or banned depending on severity. Bans are permanent and final.

Drobia is free to play. Paid tiers (Settler / Foreman / Founder) unlock the higher Operator question caps and weekly Marks drops. Payment is processed by Stripe.

• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from your settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds for unused days.
• We'll refund within 7 days of purchase if you contact support@drobia.com and haven't materially used the perks.
• If we change subscription pricing, current subscribers are notified 30 days before the change.

Marks, Scrap, items, coalition reputation, and every other in-game value are part of the game world. They have no monetary value, are not refundable, and cannot be transferred between accounts. Subscribers receive weekly Marks drops as a perk of membership — that doesn't create a separate exchange right.

Drobia's code, art, music, and writing are owned by us. The display name you choose is yours. Anything you post in chat or mail is your responsibility; you grant us a license to host and display it inside the game.

You can delete your account anytime from your settings. We can terminate accounts that break these terms, for fraud, or if running the account becomes legally untenable. If we terminate you for a reason that isn't your fault (game shut-down, region withdrawal), unused subscription days are refunded prorated.

Drobia is provided as-is. It's an alpha game. Stuff will break. Save points may be wiped during the alpha period (we'll always warn first if we can). We make no guarantees about availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that your specific survivor will survive the cordon.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for anything Drobia does or fails to do is capped at the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (typically $0 if you're on the free tier).

These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. Disputes go to courts in San Francisco County, California. If you're a consumer in the EU/UK, your local consumer protections still apply where they conflict with this clause.

We'll email account holders at least 14 days before a material change to these terms takes effect. Continuing to play after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
